 Hello, the topic of this blog is about my experience in English class at the Universidad de Chile. this topic is important, because the course ends next week and it could be helpful to a personal feedback which can be read by the teacher Okk, I am at the 4th English level in the university, I went through all the levels available, because I started in English l, in this first course I learned some new topics while others I already knew them from school, in all four levels of English we used Blogs. Personally, I think blogs helped me a lot to improve my writing and to increase vocabulary, especially because the topics of the blogs are very varied among themselves. Something that I wish could be improved in English taught at the university is for it to focus on the context of each faculty, for example I am  currently studying pharmaceutical chemistry in the Faculty of chemical sciences and  pharmacy and when reading a Paper (scientific article) there are a lot of and terms and vocabular

Changes to my study programme

  Hello everyone, the topic of this blog is abot the changes to would i do in my university study programme and in my faculty, It is a very interesting topic because personally i think to this faculty has many problems and i would do many changes for solved this problems Ok… First of all, I am studing chemstry and pharmacy in the faculty of chemist and pharmacy of Universidad de Chile, i am in this faculty since 2020 The most important topic of this problems is the infrastructure, when it rains there is nowhere to be sheltered from the rain, other problems that exist when it rains is with the “Aula magna” (the most big and important classroom), it floods and the floor is wet. The library is very basic, I would enlarge it, since when it is the test date it is always full, this last year, they installed a study room known as "the white room" in which they have reported that there are fleas in the chairs, I would change the chairs or fumigate the room in a weekend.   I p

Time travel to the past or future

  Hello, in this blog I am going to talk about where I would travel in time if I could First of all, i think to is impossible travel along of the time, because a little change in the past cause a big change in the present and this would generate a different dimensión, but If I could travel in the time I would travel to the past exactly i would travel to 1927 year. If I would be in this year i would like to visit different places and different people. The first people what i would visit is Marie Curie, if i saw Marie Curie I will say she to use a special suit for radiation, i think to this is important because Marie Curie died because she studied "the strange force" (strange in this years) of diferents minerals, this "strange radiation" was nuclear radiation and   it is very dangerous for the healt because it causes cancer and she died by this. Personally I think: If Marie Curie had not died so young, she would have generated many more contributions to science

The job of my dreams

 Hello, in this blog i’m going to tell about how i imagine my work in the future, and what should I do to be able to have that job. In this moment, i am studing chemistry and pharmacy, in the third year of this carrer and obiusly in the future i going to work in this area, but the pharmaceutical chemistry can work in more diferents areas of work how in the pharmacy, en the laboratory, in the industry food, in the industry medicaments, i would like to work in the laboratory research the autoimmune diseases or how people call them most modern diseases, to work in a research laboratory is more important the curriculum and the main requerement is to be a doctor. I would like to do a doctorate in biochemistry by work in investigation  (this is other name by work in the laboratory(, the problem of working in research is the salary, it´s so badly cause in Chile does not invest in science, that is why some chemists go abroad, because in Chile there is no work or the work is poorly paid, Th

The best concert of my life

  The best concert of my life was in 2017 when Guns and Roses played in the Monumental Stadium, at that moment I was 15 years old and I was in 3° grade of the high school. Guns and roses is an american band, they are from california, the vocalist of guns and roses is Axl Rose and the guitarist is Slash in the bass are Duff Mckagan and the second guitarist Richard Fortus, in this moment i don´t remember the name of the baterist because a long of the history of the Guns and roses there have been many drummers but the first one was   Steven Adler, he is out of the band because he was many problematic.   Hello, my name is Alonso, in this post I would like to talk about my life and every thing that I would like to do in the future, where I like to travel, life, work etc.. In other words, how I plan my life in the future.   When I finished the university i would like to travel to United Stated or United Kingdom. I   would like to travel to one of this countries because in this countries the people speak english and I would like to learn the lenguaje, if I would travel to one of this countries I would speak every day to diferents peoples by practice the idiom, but if I had to choose one of this two countries I prefer to choose United Stated specifically new york because in here exist differents stores of technology   what be very cheap and I would like to buy different things to sell in Chile, but obviously if I were in other country I would go to every tourist places like the Empire State Building or the Brooklyn bridge. Personally I wouldn't like to live in other country cause

My favorite subject

  In my current semester I am studying seven subjects: Analytical Chemistry, English 3, Cell Physiology, Organic Chemistry 1, Statistics and Data Analysis and Research for Pharmaceutical Sciences. Of these seven subjects that I like the most are cellular physiology, analytical chemistry and organic chemistry, especially cellular physiology, since it aroused a certain affection in me towards biology, since I was in high school I have not liked this field. In other words, my favorite   subject this semester is cellular physiology simply because it marked a change in something that I disliked before, making it more pleasant. In cell physiology classes we only dedicate ourselves to passing material for one or two hours, the subject that is studied in this field is about the different mechanisms that the human body has at the cellular level to maintain the internal environment in stable parameters such as blood glucose concentration, body temperature or blood pressure.
